The original concept  was not merely to find the individuals of ancestors, family members, of these various families but also to investigate  and explore the times and conditions of these ancestors. This original incentive has not diminished. The opposite  has occurred. Locating ancestors in their environments and period this research, many friends and relatives have  been corresponded and this has been an additional bonus of this project. It is surprising how helpful persons with  similar ideals and connections, both home and abroad, can be. To those many people who have been, continue to be,  so gracious in their time and efforts in aiding this work, many thanks are extended to them. Long may our  relationships continue. And hopefully, via this research and website, new friendships will blossom   By definition the study of a family's descent from it's ancestors. A recording of a family's history. The goal to  record a truthful and provable lineage for future generations. From years of pouring over family documents, public  records and recorded material, the family's past is pieced together, one generation at a time, an enormous and  impressive amount of data. Anyone who has ventured into this kind of research knows how frustrating, yet  rewarding, it can be. Some roads lead nowhere, twisting and turning leaving the traveller dizzy. Determined to  prove, or disprove, the stories and claims of those who have gone before us by always verifying the facts using  more than one source. There are family leg ends that turn out to be myths and truths buried under centuries of  silence. Although discrepancies can be maddening, solving those mysteries is the reward. Research is always on-  going. While some prodigious histories on some lines are found , others remain obscure. The compulsion is to  continue searching each line as far back as possible.  The webpages layout are simply designed and can be easily followed. On either side of the site's main body  are two side panels. The left panel lists the primary families concerned with this reasech. These are divided into  three main sections, Paternal, Maternal and Irish families. On the right hand side, the panel lists the places that are  connected with the families.
